RRIPG to Continue Advancing Player Welfare at the 2025 USA Rugby Club 7s National Championship

Dr. Victor Lopez Jr., D.O., and the Rugby Research and Injury Prevention Group Inc. (RRIPG) are set to return to the 2025 USA Rugby Club 7s National Championship in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, on August 9, 2025. This premier tournament gathers 32 of the nation’s top men’s and women’s club teams to compete for the prestigious Emile Signes Cup.

Building on their impactful presence in 2024, the RRIPG team will once again champion player safety, welfare, and injury surveillance. As part of RRIPG’s ongoing commitment to research-driven policy and education, the team will collaborate with athletes, coaches, and event organizers to support safe participation and promote evidence-based practices in rugby injury prevention.
