RRIPG Advances Player Welfare at the 2024 USA Rugby Club 7s Nationals

 

 

Dr. Victor Lopez Jr., D.O., and his Rugby Research and Injury Prevention Group (RRIPG) team took on the 2024 USA Rugby National Club Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, this past August.The tournament hosted 32 teams from across the United States, rostering world-renowned talent competing for the coveted Emile Signed Cup. The Club 7s National Championship has been the preeminent Rugby Sevens event since 1985, with spotlights for elite domestic rugby athletes, both men and women. The RRIPG team, consisting of Ms. Aakansha Kanyal, Ms. Mya Gruett and Mr. Philip Tesic, was honored to be in attendance at the event, promoting player welfare for the present athletes and the greater good of the sport.
